Guided Practice (Drop In Skating Lesson)
Drop in sessions are one hour of coach guided practice. Skaters with stickers will be visited 1 on 1 by the coach throughout the hour. Skaters are given tips, advice, and guidance. Only 20 stickers will be handed out per session, so registration is recommended. Free with rink admission.

About the Event
Join us at the Lawrence Civic Plaza Rink this Winterfest for an hour of fun and skating.
A skating coach will be visiting with skaters throughout this hour long session, to provide 1 on 1 skating instruction, tips, and advice.
Register or just stop by, but don't forget to get a sticker to wear during the session!
This is how the instructor knows you would like guidance and instruction. Stickers must be worn where they can be easily seen.
You can ask for a sticker at the Skating Hut, when you pay for your admission to the rink.
If you register online, there will be a sticker waiting for you, if you are dropping in, please write your first name on your sticker.
More info:
-Saturday afternoons from 4-5pm (November 26th-December 17th)
-Helmet is recommended (especially for beginners)(Bicycle helmet is fine)
-Gloves are recommended
-Elbow pads, knee pads, hockey pants make falling more pleasant, but are not required
-Come dressed in multiple layers of warm clothing that you can move easily in (rather than bulky coats and snowsuits which restrict movement and can make it hard to get up from the ice)
-Guided instruction is free with paid admission to the Lawrence Winterfest Rink.
