Free Learn to Skate Lessons (4 Week Class)
Register now for this 4 week class, Saturdays from 3-4pm, at the Lawrence Winterfest Rink. Learn the basics of walking across the ice, falling safely, gliding, pumping, and stopping. For beginners ages 5+

About the Event
Register now for this 4 week class to learn the basics of skating. For beginners ages 5+
We will cover walking across the ice, falling safely, gliding, pumping, and stopping. A great introduction for new skaters, or brush up for those who have not been skating in years.
-Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm (November 26th-December 17th)
-Helmet is required (Bicycle helmet is fine)
-Gloves are recommended
-Elbow pads, knee pads, hockey pants make falling more pleasant, but are not required
-Come dressed in multiple layers of warm clothing that you can move easily in (rather than bulky coats and snowsuits which restrict movement and can make it hard to get up from the ice)
-Classes are free with paid admission to the Lawrence Winterfest Rink.
