What Comes After Hockey Basics?
Children who enjoy the program and want to continue may be considered for future Player Development or summer opportunities. Coaches evaluate readiness, attendance, commitment, effort and attitude.
Player Development introduces selected returning participants to practicing in hockey equipment and learning more of the game. It is part of our longer-term plan to create a high-school development team.
Plant the seed now.
A child does not need to be the most advanced player to earn another opportunity. Showing up, listening, working hard, treating others well and continuing to try all matter.
Transportation or Family Support
Parents and guardians provide transportation for Community Hockey Basics. If cost, transportation, work schedules or another family barrier may prevent participation, tell us on the interest form or email Michelle at michelle@ourhockeyhouse.org. We want to understand what families need and explore what help may be possible.
